About Copper CRM

Copper CRM is a customer relationship management platform founded in 2014 (originally as ProsperWorks) in San Francisco. The company raised more than $87 million in venture funding from Norwest Venture Partners, Industry Ventures, and others. Copper is designed to operate inside Google Workspace, with a Chrome extension and sidebar that embed CRM functionality directly in Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive.

Copper automatically captures contacts, email threads, and calendar events from Google Workspace, eliminating manual data entry for sales and account teams. The platform includes a visual sales pipeline, task management, workflow automation, email templates and sequences, and reporting. Workflow rules trigger actions based on deal events: when a deal moves to a new stage, Copper can assign tasks, send follow-up emails, notify teammates, or update field values. Copper is official Google-recommended CRM within the Google Workspace Marketplace.

As of July 2026 Copper offers three pricing tiers, billed annually (the former $12 Starter tier was removed): Basic at $23/user/month (unlimited contacts, Google Workspace integrations, mobile; $29 monthly), Professional at $59/user/month (workflow automation, email sequences, reporting; $69 monthly), and Business at $99/user/month (LinkedIn integration, lead scoring, custom reports; $134 monthly).

Copper integrates natively with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Google Chat. Additional integrations include Slack, DocuSign, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Zapier, and Make. The REST API supports CRUD operations on people, companies, opportunities, projects, and tasks.
