About Braze

Braze is an enterprise customer engagement platform from Braze Inc., a publicly traded company founded in 2011 and listed on Nasdaq as BRZE since 2021. Cross-channel push, email, SMS, in-app, WhatsApp. Reported $593M revenue in fiscal 2025 with 2,300+ enterprise customers.

Braze is a customer engagement platform built by Braze Inc., a publicly traded company founded in 2011 (originally as Appboy) and headquartered in New York. The company rebranded to Braze in 2017 and listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker BRZE in November 2021. As of fiscal 2025 Braze reported $593 million in revenue and more than 2,300 enterprise customers including Burger King, HBO Max, Pizza Hut, IBM, and KFC.

The platform sends cross-channel marketing messages across push notifications, email, in-app messages, content cards, SMS, WhatsApp, and webhooks. The signature feature is Canvas, a visual journey builder that orchestrates multi-step user lifecycles with branching, delays, and decision splits based on user behaviour or attributes. Braze ingests user events through SDKs for iOS, Android, web, Unity, and Unreal, and supports server-side event APIs for backend systems.

Braze pricing is enterprise quote-based. Public benchmarks place typical mid-market deals at $40,000-$100,000 per year and large enterprise deals at $200,000-$1,000,000+ depending on monthly active user volume, channels, and add-on modules (Currents, Catalogs, Sage AI). There is no free tier and no self-service signup; Braze is sold through direct sales and partners.

The product integrates natively with Snowflake, Segment, mParticle, Amplitude, Iterable Connectors, AWS, GCP, and most data warehouses through Currents real-time event export. Braze targets B2C companies with large mobile and web user bases — retail, media, food delivery, gaming, and financial services.
