Hidden Costs and Considerations

• Connection counting: Boomi counts each endpoint-to-endpoint link as a connection. A single integration process that reads from Salesforce and writes to both SAP and a database counts as 2 connections (Salesforce-SAP and Salesforce-Database). Complex integration scenarios can consume connections faster than expected.
• Atom infrastructure: While the Atom runtime is lightweight, organizations deploying on-premise Atoms need to provide server infrastructure. Cloud Atoms (Boomi-managed) are included but have resource limits.
• API Management: Full API management (publishing, securing, monitoring APIs) is only included at the Enterprise tier and above.
