Pega Platform is an enterprise process automation suite developed by Pegasystems Inc., founded in 1983 by Alan Trefler in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Pegasystems is publicly traded on NASDAQ (ticker: PEGA) and reported $1.5 billion in revenue for fiscal year 2024. As of April 2026, Pega serves some of the world's largest organizations in financial services, insurance, healthcare, government, telecommunications, and manufacturing.

The Pega Infinity platform combines four capabilities: business process management (BPM) for modeling and executing business processes, case management for tracking complex work items through their lifecycle, robotic process automation (RPA) for automating desktop application interactions, and AI-powered decisioning for real-time next-best-action recommendations. The platform uses a model-driven, low-code approach where applications are defined through visual models rather than hand-coded. These models generate Java applications that run on the Pega Cloud or on-premises infrastructure.
