How much does Informatica cost in 2026?

Informatica Pricing (as of July 2026)

Informatica does not publish prices. Its IDMC platform is licensed by IPU (Informatica Processing Unit) consumption and quote-based, negotiated through enterprise sales (typically a 4-8 week cycle). A free Cloud Data Integration service (IPU-based, on AWS) is now offered for entry-level use.

Pricing model

IDMC is licensed as modules — Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Cloud Data Quality (CDQ), Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC), and Master Data Management (MDM) — drawing on a flexible IPU pool. Total cost depends on modules, connector count (premium connectors like SAP and Oracle EBS cost more), data volume (IPUs scale with volume), and users.

Third-party estimate ranges (not official)

Informatica publishes no list prices; the following are third-party/analyst estimates, useful only as rough orientation:

• Small deployment (integration only, 5-10 connectors): ~$50,000-75,000/year
• Mid-size (integration + quality, 20-30 connectors): ~$100,000-150,000/year
• Large enterprise (full IDMC + MDM, 50+ connectors): ~$200,000-500,000+/year
• Multi-year contracts typically see 10-20% discounts

Cost comparison with alternatives (estimated)

Informatica is the most expensive per connector but bundles data quality, governance, and cataloging that competitors charge for separately or lack. Teams needing only integration — without quality, governance, or MDM — will find it over-priced relative to Fivetran or Boomi.

Editor's Note: We were involved in an Informatica negotiation for a mid-size retailer: an initial CDI + CDQ quote of $175,000/year came down to $120,000/year on a 3-year commitment after we supplied competing Fivetran ($45K) and Boomi ($55K) quotes. The premium was justified only by the data-quality module, which caught real inconsistencies across their SAP and Oracle systems during the proof-of-concept.
