The company's Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform covers data integration, quality, governance, cataloging, and master data management. Informatica serves 85 of the Fortune 100 and generates over $1.5 billion in annual revenue as of 2025. The company was taken private in 2015 and re-listed on the NYSE (INFA) in 2021. Acquisition talks with Salesforce reported in 2024 at around $29 billion ended without an agreement, but Salesforce signed a definitive agreement in May 2025 and completed the acquisition on 18 November 2025 at approximately $8 billion in equity value, net of its existing stake. Informatica now operates as a Salesforce company.
