Kissflow
platformLow-code work platform for every team
Unified low-code work platform that combines workflow automation, case management, project management, and app development in a single platform designed for business teams.
Our Take
Kissflow occupies an interesting space: it's trying to be the 'one platform to rule them all' for mid-market companies that don't want to buy separate tools for workflows, project management, case management, and custom apps. The promise is compelling — instead of paying for Monday.com AND Jira AND a custom workflow tool, you get everything in Kissflow.
In practice, the platform delivers on breadth but not depth. Each individual capability (workflow automation, project management, case management) is solid but not best-in-class. If you need sophisticated project management, Monday.com or Asana will serve you better. If you need complex workflow automation, Workato or n8n offer more power. But if you need 'good enough' across all categories in a single platform, Kissflow is genuinely useful.
The biggest win is for mid-market companies in India and Southeast Asia, where Kissflow has strong brand recognition and competitive pricing. Their Chennai base keeps costs low, and they price aggressively against Western competitors. For Western enterprises, the lower brand recognition can be a harder sell to IT procurement teams.
What Sets Kissflow Apart
Kissflow is one of the few platforms that genuinely unifies workflow automation, case management, project management, and custom app building in a single product. Most competitors specialize in one area. This 'unified work platform' approach means business teams can handle structured processes (workflows), unstructured processes (cases), and projects all in the same environment. The 'citizen developer' focus also means IT teams spend less time on internal tool requests.

Market Position
Kissflow competes in an awkward space between pure workflow tools (Nintex, Power Automate), project management (Monday.com, Asana), and low-code platforms (OutSystems, Mendix). They're not the best at any single thing, but they're the most unified. In the low-code market specifically, they compete with Appian and Pega on the enterprise side and with Airtable and Notion on the SMB side. Their pricing (starting around $1,500/month) puts them firmly in the mid-market.
Our Story
Founded in 2012 in Chennai by Suresh Sambandam, a serial entrepreneur who noticed that businesses were drowning in manual processes that no one had time to automate. His vision was a platform simple enough that business managers — not developers — could build the tools they needed.
